Pms- Gallup Teen Health Center is a community health center based in McKinley County, NM serving the rural population. This clinic is open only 40 hours a week. A federal grant awarded to grantee Presbyterian Medical Services. helps maintain operations. Operations began September of 2006.
Gallup Teen Health Center is located at Gallup High School. The program provides medical and behavioral health services for adolescents and their families. Our clinical staff consists of a Physician Assistant for medical services and a licensed practical clinical counselor for behavioral health. We are on school scheduling throughout the year and are off two months for the summer. Gallup Teen Health Center has been in operation for 4 years. School based health centers have been set up to reduced the number of absences from the school and also provide the convenience of parents not having to take time off from their work schedule in order have their child seen by a doctor.
