About PMS - Questa Health Center

Pms - Questa Health Center is a Taos County community-based clinic. This clinic is open 40 hours a week. A federal grant awarded to Presbyterian Medical Services. helps maintain operations. Operations began July of 1970.

Primary Care
Comprehensive Family Medical Care
-Long-term care & disease management for chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and COPD/asthma
-Well women exams and family planning counseling /STD intervention
-Urgent treatment for acute illnesses, such as sore throat, fever, and earaches
-Emergent care and/or stabilization for minor injuries
-Sick & Well Child Care, including immunizations
Diagnostic & Other Services
-On-site CLIA Waived Laboratory/draw station
-In-house prescription dispensing (no narcotics/controlled substances kept on-site)
-Basic Vision Screening
-Driver's License and CDL physicals, as required by D.O.T.
-Sports & School physicals
-Acupuncturist available on-site weekly
-W.I.C. program available on-site every other week
-Medicaid determiner on-site (apply for Medicaid here!)
Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Treatment and Counseling
-Individual counseling
-Parenting support
-PTSD treatment/sexual abuse/stress reduction support
-Sexual orientation support
-Pediatric/Teen behavioral therapy
-Cultural acceptance therapy/support
-Intensive outpatient screening, treatment, & support for alcoholism and substance abuse
-Subaxone/Subutex/Methadone behavioral therapy
-Medical Cannabis behavioral therapy
-Domestic violence counseling
-Marriage counseling
-Divorce/separation counseling
-Court /CYFD ordered therapy for alcohol/drug related issues, domestic violence, behavioral issues, etc.

Our dental program serves all age groups: Infant/Toddler, pediatric, teen, adult, and seniors
