This clinic was opened in January 2004, and has been providing high quality dental care to many uninsured and underserved patients ever since. In June 2008 they moved to a newly renovated site in the Lake Aire shopping center, and with the support of St. David’s Community Health Foundation and Georgetown Health Foundation, the site was renovated especially for LSCC and all new equipment was purchased, including a state-of-the-art panoramic x-ray machine.
Their services are not free; and they request payment from patients in the form of a co-pay for those insurance plans that require it, or for patients who are uninsured, they collect a fee for service that is determined based on a sliding scale determined by income and family size according to Federal Poverty Level guidelines.
